Is it your child’s first birthday and you want to celebrate it in a special way? Book in a Cake Smash Photoshoot with Dynasty Photography for a fun and memorable experience! In this specialised photoshoot we take spontaneous photos of your baby with a beautifully decorated cake. We order in all cakes from Laine’s Home CakeryBakery, which are made especially for your child in any colour of your choice, which you can pick from in our gallery.
€50 price of cake without topping (topping +€25)
Your child is then welcome to have some fun, smash the cake and eat it!
I will start your photo session by taking pictures without a cake, so you will also have some beautiful portrait photos of your baby. For an additional price, I can also take pictures with family if desired. After that, your child gets the cake and the Cake Smash Photoshoot begins, like a small party.
At the end of the photoshoot, your child may take a bath and I can capture some memorable photos of this as well.

This photoshoot lasts up to an hour and we will give you the choice of two package options. You will receive 10 digital files (without logo), which have been full edited. You can choose photos from the gallery with at least 25 photos. Extra photos can be re-ordered. Additional digital photos with child can be ordered for €20 without our logo.
You receive digital files without logo/watermark, so you can make unlimited prints whenever you like. This means that you don’t have to order expensive prints through us. The files are large enough for a nice canvas or a photo in wood. Other digital photo files can be re-ordered.
When your photoshoot is finished, you can of course take the cake home. There is often a lot left, which can be enjoyed by your family

As the cakes are custom made I require a few weeks notice for a cake smash. As my diary fills up in advance and fast, it is best to book as
soon as possible.
Please let me know at the time of booking and I can notify the cake provider and a diary free cake can be made for you. Or if any other allergies PLEASE make sure to let me know too.
The cake smash will be held at my studio in Limerick city.
I recommend bringing one or two outfits or spare clothes as it can get a little messy, a towel for bath session too. If your child has a favourite toy that you would like them to be photographed with then please bring it along as well.
Yes, I have some lovely bespoke props, outfits and blankets that we can use during your session. You can choose favourite color theme at the booking.
Yes, I do for an extra cost. The cost of a custom made cake is NOT included in the session fee. You can provide your own if you wish.
After the photoshoot, we will book you in for an appointment to view your gallery. During busy periods this can between 1 2 weeks, I will advise you at your session.
